Bulldogs News · Swim ends its dual schedule on high note


Swim and dive had its last dual meet today against Skyline and both the girls and boys came away with a victory.
The girls won by a score of 95-90 and the boys defeated Skyline 100-97. The team will head to Chandler High on Friday for its second state qualifier meet. Sophomore Riley Farmer has already made the automatic state cut in the 100 Backstroke and a provisional cut in the 200 Free. Senior Trevor Alford has made provisional state cuts in the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Backstroke. The Bulldogs have also made provisional state cuts in the following relay teams: Girls 200 Medley Relay and Girls 200 Freestyle Relay and the Boys 200 Medley Relay and Boys 200 Freestyle Relay. The team is hoping to add on to the state qualifier list at the invitational tomorrow night and then will have three more state qualifier invitationals left before the state championships.
